1972 1973 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super 1.6
Vehicle Type:Sedans and Coupes
- Extensively recommisioned
- Great colour combination
- Original and unmodified
- Ready for a Road Trip!
This is a lovely original and preserved late Super 1.6, in the ultra desirable Blu Holandesa/Tan colour combination. It is now getting difficult to find Giulia Super 1.6 in this condition, and this particular car was selected by Alfa Romeo España to be displayed in their museum at the Spanish launch of the latest Giulia in June 2016.
The car has had substantial work done by Italclassic in the past 12 months, preserving its originality and integrity to provide an authentic and reliable car, ready for comfortable, long-distance cruising.
This Giulia has spent most of its life in dry climates, originally registered in Italy and imported into Spain in 2008 by the previous owner, a Belgian Alfisti. Dry-stored for several years due to ill health, the car has been recommissioned with new exhaust and tyres. The ignition system and carburation have been overhauled. Brakes and steering have also been overhauled, all work carried out by Italclassic, with invoices available.
The body and interior are entirely original, in good condition and present very well. A new headlining has been fitted, as have new screen rubbers. The body has been repainted in its original colours at some point, but well-done, and wears typical patina of an older paint job. The paint shines well and the stainless trim is all correct and undamaged. The car is structurally very good. Localised corrosion in the front floors was eradicated and repaired with new repair panels, also by Italclassic.
Overall, this is an opportunity to buy a very presentable, well-preserved Super 1.6 which drives very well, has no issues and can be enjoyed as it is for many years to come.
